Sara Jane Fusco, our Execurtive Producer, conceived of Labor-Lines in 1998, wanting to give a voice to the compelling story of the labor movement on Long Island. Sara presented the idea of Labor Lines to WGBB management and the show began airing in March of 1999. One of the first guests was then NY State AFL-CIO President Ed Cleary.
