Massive Labor Rally at Nassau Legislative Building, October 17th, 2011. Unions object to country efforts to abnegate collective bargaining agreements. This is not Wisconsin. Nassau PBA, CSEA, Sherriffs, TWU, Building Trades, Private Sector Unions stand together to say "NO!"

Over 3000 Union members from Nassau, Suffolk and New York City stood tall on the steps of the Legislative Building to say no to "deep sixing" collective bargaining agreements. Pat Lynch of the NYC PBA declared if they do it in Nassau, we in NYC are next, and we're not going to let that happen."

Some of the Labor Leaders who spoke included John R. Durso, President of the Long Island Federation of Labor, Jim Castellane, President of the Nassau-Suffolk Building Trades, Jim Carver - Nassau PBA, Jeff Frayler - Suffolk PBA, Glenn Ciccone - Nassau Detectives, Eileen Bowden-TWU 259, Jerry Laricchiuta CSEA 830, Nick LaMorte CSEA 1000, Dan Donohue - CSEA Statewide, Mario Cilento NY AFLCIO, Gary Learned- Nassau Superior Officers Association, Mauro Palladino - NYC Detectives Association, Brain Sullivan - Nassau County Sherriff Officers' Association, Pat Lynch- NYC PBA, Rich Wells Statewide PBA conference, and many others.
